FIN Grant Application Live
The FIN Grant Application is live. FRC teams that have received support in the past from:
- Toyota
- Rolls Royce
- Corteva
- Arconic
are required to complete this form by Friday, September 9th, to be eligible for support from those providers this season. Even if you didn’t receive money from one of these providers last year, we need your application in case we receive funds from them this year. If you are unsure, email Chris Osborne – cosborne@firstindianarobotics.org
We will have some funds available for hardship grants this year. Priority will go to teams with underserved and underrepresented youth in their community. There will also be a requirement for teams receiving hardship grants to:
- Work with a partner that will be matched with your team to develop a business plan.
- The team will meet a series of fundraising and sponsorship goals throughout the season as set by the team, partner, and FIN.
- The team will establish a goal to have the 2023-2024 registration fee (per program level) raised and set aside by July 1st.
These requirements are designed to help teams develop sustainable fundraising and sponsorship funding that will put the team in a position to meet a minimum funding plan for each season.
Do you have questions? Would you like to learn more about why you should apply for our grants?
Join us for a Zoom Call on Tuesday, August 16th at 7 PM to learn about the FRC grants available from FIN and other providers. We will also cover the new requirements for hardship grants.
Declare your intent!
Head coaches, if you could please log into your dashboard soon and take a few minutes to update your acknowledgment forms and youth protection, and then check the box on your intent to return to FRC this year, we’d appreciate it. Helping us understand our numbers as early as possible helps us plan the number of events we need to plan for.
FTC Control Systems
Does your team have access to the Rev Control Hub or Expansion Hub that you won’t be using? These two items are on back order, and we may have some FTC rookie teams needing these items.
We are looking for teams with this equipment willing to lend it to rookie FTC teams for a season.
Please contact Chris Osborne – cosborne@firstindianarobotics.org or Trisha Thompson – tthompson@firstindianarobotics.org
