Qualifying Tournament Checklist
Before Going
- Read Game Manual Part 1 and 2
- Visit the FIRST Tech Challenge Forum
- Understand how to use the Question Box
- Read the How to Prep for an Event blog post, which includes a helpful packing list.
- Print your team roster from www.firstinspires.org
- Log into your dashboard at www.firstinspires.org
- Under MY TEAMS, Team Contacts/Roster, select Contact Options
- Select Manage Contacts
- Select Printable Roster
Prepare for Inspection
- Review the Inspection Forms from Game Manual Part 1, Appendix A
- Make sure your robot fits in an 18″ x 18″ x 18″ sizing box (How to make your own)
Prepare for Judging
- Practice using the Team Judging Self-Reflection Sheet (not collected)
- Complete your Control Award Content Sheet with these instructions
- Complete the Judging Feedback Request Form
Upon Arrival
- Go to Team Check-In
- Turn in your printed roster
- Receive your team packet
Qualifying Tournament Payment Information
You can pay your QT Registration fees by credit card or generate an invoice at https://pay.
- Select “FTC Qualifying Tournament Registration”
- Type in your team number
- Click “Add to Cart” (If you have multiple teams, you can change the team number and add multiple registrations to your cart.)
- From here you can checkout via credit card, or select “Print an Invoice” (You can also download a copy of our W-9 from this screen) You can print a paper copy of your invoice, or print to pdf to email a copy.
Checks should be made out to FIRST Indiana Robotics, and can be mailed to:

Please include a copy of your invoice with the check, and write your team number on the check to ensure correct recordkeeping.
