FIRST Indiana Robotics is seeking candidates for the position of FIRST Senior Mentor. As a FIRST Senior Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering teams in the FIRST robotics program across Indiana.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to FIRST teams, coaches, and volunteers.
- Collaborating with local teams and organizations to promote STEM education and robotics programs.
- Assisting in the recruitment and training of new mentors and volunteers.
- Representing FIRST Indiana Robotics at events and competitions throughout the state.
- Contributing to the overall growth and success of the FIRST robotics community in Indiana.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who:
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates a robust background in robotics and/or STEM education with FIRST experience
- Exhibits a genuine passion for mentoring and empowering youth.
- Displays enthusiasm, motivation, and a commitment to the mission of FIRST Indiana Robotics.
- Willing and able to travel within the state of Indiana as necessary.
