Hello #FINFam Community,
I am excited to share this message from Logan Byers, Board Chair, on behalf of the FIRST Indiana Robotics Board of Directors:
“Over the past 3 months, the Hiring Committee has worked through the process of reviewing numerous applications, interviewing candidates, and identifying the next President of FIRST Indiana Robotics. I’d like to thank the committee members for their time and dedication throughout the process and their careful consideration of the candidates:
Caitlin Sheesley-Brown
Brad Thompson
Amy Liimatta
Monica Bravo
FIRST Indiana Robotics is proud to announce that Ashley Robbins will serve as the new FIRST Indiana Robotics as President starting in late March. Ashley joins the #FINFam with significant experience in nonprofit management, donor development, content creation for organization communications, volunteer management, youth programming, and fundraising. She attended Purdue University for both her undergraduate degree (earning a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing with a Minor in Organizational Leadership and Supervision) and her graduate degree (a Master of Science in Communication with a concentration in Strategic Communication & PR). Ashley spent time serving as the Enrichment Program and Coordinator for New Prairie United School Corporation, where she worked closely with the FRC Team 2197, Las Pumas. Most recently, she served as Director of Foundation Operations for Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, where she served as the primary point of contact between the Foundation and donors or potential donors.
The Board of Directors will share additional information about her starting date later in the month and we look forward to working with Ashley in the near future!”
Logan and I will be at each of the upcoming FRC events and encourage you to direct questions our way.
Best Regards,
Renee Becker-Blau
